- 2002 – 2004: Unemployed
- 2004 – Present: Administrative & Diplomatic Officer
What
are some of the challenges you faced as a IRK & Human Sciences student while you were
studying at IIUM?
When people kept asking me, "Ko amik course human science ni nanti grad boleh jadi apa ek?" My answer and still is "jadi good human being".
Actually, my late father's words kept me motivated when people kept asking me such questions. My father said, "Tuntutlah ilmu sebab ianya wajib di sisi agama., bukan sebab nak dapat kerja. Kalau kita ada ilmu, duduk di dapur pun kita boleh manfaatkan ilmu yang kita ada. Kita berusaha, berdoa & Allah yang tentukan"
I found it to be very true. When I was a full time housewife from 2002 to 2004, I used everything I learned to teach tuition, translate contracts, etc. It was definitely worth it.

Discrimination : Experience,
language proficiency (e.g: preferable mandarin), physical appearance..
What
advice would you give to IRK & Human Sciences students seeking to pursue careers
using their qualifications?
- Never give up
- Establish networking
- Seek advice from experienced/succesful persons in their field
- Doa, solat, bersedekah, tawakal
What
else would you like to tell the IRK & Human Sciences students currently studying at IIUM?
- Invite someone from JPA to give a talk about the careers available or have an interview session for Human Sciences students. Only then will students get more a clearer picture about careers in government.
- Invite any successful business person to share how they can start and run a business instead of working in the private or public sectors.

Invite someone from the Human Resources department of various companies to do the same.Improve your proficiency in languages other than just English & Malay.
- Improve your communication skills.
- Improve other skills (main alat muzik ke, marhaban ke, qasidah ke, tahlil ke, sukan ke, etc)
- Doa, solat, bersedekah, tawakal
